Zajac Gets Week Award

Wild forward Travis Zajac has been named player of the week.

Minnesota Wild forward Travis Zajac continues to play at an elite level, and thanks to several strong performances this week, he earned the player of the week for week 5.

This is some well-deserved recognition for Zajac, who has easily been one of the best players on Minnesota’s roster as of late. He collected five goals and twelve assists for seventeen points. He was also a plus nine and scored one game winning goal.

Originally thought of a defensive player, Travis continues to show why he’s a terrific two-way player.
