Rangers Sign Lindell And Gibson Traded
May 16, 2019
The New York Rangers signed young D Esa Lindell to a six year deal at a 5.8m AAV. Lindell is part of the Rangers D Big 3 with Jones and Chabot.

Top young G John Gibson was dealt to an Eastern Conference club, as the Rangers have Jaroslav Halak and three top young goalies coming into their own; Jordan Binnington, Carter Hart and AHL All-Star Kaapo Kahkonen. Unfortunately, even with his top ratings and upside, Gibson was the odd-man out.

The Rangers two 1st rounders are available. I believe they're around ~9th and ~28th respectively. Unless we can get into the top two slots, we'll likely trade down and/or out for next year's draft.

The Rangers biggest roster need is a top C and possibly a solid top 4 D. We're all ears and have solid assets to move.
