Penguins Begin New Season!
November 20, 2017
After coming from a lottery win the Penguins have assembled a team we believe can compete. In free agency the Penguins acquired Ryan Miller, Johnny Oduya and Colin Greening. These players added depth to our current roster to fill the holes needed. Ryan Miller is taking the starting job over Hellebuyck as his veteran leadership is needed to mentor Helle.

Penguins dealt fan favourite Panarin."We just werent coming to a long term deal so we decided to make a move now for long term stability".

Penguins were in the market for a 2nd line centre but with several failed trade attempts, have now decided to move Charlie Coyle to this role for game #3 and onward. With this move we have promoted Vatrano to the 3rd line role.

We are looking to acquire a 3rd line RW that is better suited for that role. We are also in the market for an upgrade on our #6 dman Chorney.

We have limited cap space but feel with Henrik, Voracek, Parise, Perry and Bobby Ryan we have 2 solid lines up front that can complete.
