Avs Training Camp
November 08, 2018
With teams starting up training camp GM Dennis said it was a fairly quite off season. Joe Pavelshi was brought in from the Montreal Canadians. GM Dennis said that he brings some more veteran leadership to the team but still can produce in today’s game. GM Dennis used the draft to fill in holes and obtain depth. GM Dennis advised that depth was a main goal for the off season and advised he is happy with how his team looks from the first lines to the fourth lines. We have believe we have 3 lines that can score at any time and a great defensive fourth line. Last year’s Calder winner Mathew Barzal will finally get his chance to make this roster he is projected to center the third line with Hyman and Trocheck as his wingers. GM Dennis has also been praising young 21 year old star David Pastrnak, “he looks like he can have a break out season” It is not sure who will be his center Stamkos or Backstrom, Pastrnak has been playing with both during training camp scrimmages expect to continue seeing that through pre-season games.
